Our Story

At Excel Pest Control, we've been dedicated to protecting the homes and businesses of Kitsap County for over 20 years. Our company is owned by Chris and Randi Jones, both of whom hold Master of Science degrees in Entomology. With extensive professional experience in the pest control industry, we are well-versed in the safest and most up-to-date pest control practices. After moving to Kingston from Tennessee, Chris and Randi fell in love with the area and decided to make it their home. "We love this area, " says Chris Jones. "We couldn't have moved to a more beautiful location. Kitsap is a wonderful place to live."

State-of-the-Art Pest Control

Chris and Randi Jones are state licensed and extensively trained in pest ID, damage recognition, and insect management methods. We develop service programs for each client that are environmentally responsible, such as using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. Our treatment plans include control measures designed to reduce or eliminate pests while minimizing customer concerns over chemicals. Strategies used may include interior/exterior baiting, harborage reduction, repair or exclusion work, and improvements in sanitation.

Quarterly Maintenance

Our quarterly pest control service is a protective treatment applied to the exterior of a home to keep insect pests from entering. It controls carpenter ants, spiders, fleas, ground beetles, small ants, earwigs, ticks, mites, crickets, silverfish, millipedes, carpet beetles, sowbugs, and pill bugs. If clients ever have problems with rats, mice, bees, or wasps, control of these pests is included in this preventative program. We use a slow-release product that lasts for three months in the environment (hence the quarterly service!). This product is microencapsulated, which offers several benefits, including low odor, reduced exposure to humans and pets, and high insecticidal activity at low rates.
